The cells of the brain store not only thought memories, but "feeling" memories, and"karmic" memories. The mental, emotional and physical body seeks healing to release this energy. Psychotherapy only addresses healing at the cognitive/behavioural level; the mental body.
IET releases the blocks in the energy anatomy--such as fear, shame, guilt, anger, resentment, stress and powerlessness. It replaces these energies with their opposite, i.e., innocence, trust, unconditional love and forgiveness.
